Johnson and Johnson is actually one of the founding partners behind Text4Baby and there has been a lot of back and forth with them (and BabyCenter) about the text content and though it will be similar, there are some differences. BabyCenter's primary demographic is middle-high income women and families, whereas Text4Baby is focused on reaching low-income women. BabyCenter's service is a great complement to their superb website, but Text4Baby is designed to stand alone for women who don't have internet access. Finally, thanks to a generous offer from the Wireless Association, any message to or from the Text4Baby program will be completely free to send or receive.
