Interesting topic! I thought I would check in and add my input as a consumer that has used the new Pill Phone mobile application described above. I have found The Pill Phone to be very intuitive and simple to use, which is always a plus! The Pill Phone has been most helpful in helping me manage my own chronic medications and health & wellness reminders. Many thanks to the people that invented Pill Phone- great stuff!!

First, thank for including the Pill Phone Mobile application in your healthcare article comparing consumer-facing medication management tools. In addition to the pill phone features and benefits mentioned in the article one very important feature needs to be presented: the pill phone Medication Administration Record (MAR). The MAR is a dosage diary viewed on line with a pin # that tracks the consumers medication compliance in real-time. The MAR can be shared with caregivers/physicians with user approval. The MAR feature is a useful tool for patients seeing multiple physicians and taking several medications daily.
