Indonesia's Paspor Sehat issues HealthCerts from Singapore

Singaporean tech firm Knowledge Catalyst has partnered with Paspor Sehat, Indonesia's provider of electronic Health Alert Card, to issue digital health certificates for people travelling between Singapore and Indonesia.

Based on a press statement, the Indonesian platform started issuing the tamper-proof and verifiable COVID-19 test credentials powered by Knowledge Catalyst.

Founded last year, Paspor Sehat is a partner of Indonesia's Health Ministry in validating COVID-19 test results. Its platform delivers COVID-19 test reports from over 6,700 healthcare institutions to travellers in the form of QR codes. It automatically sends results to the e-HAC and PeduliLindungi mobile apps.

"Through our collaboration with Knowledge Catalyst, we are helping COVID-19 test results of Indonesia's travellers to be recognized in other countries globally. This can only be implemented efficiently with the blockchain technology available today," Paspor Sehat CEO Syahmudrian Lubis said.

iXensor sponsors COVID-19 rapid testing of Team Bahrain Victorious

Taiwanese mobile health firm iXensor has sponsored the COVID-19 rapid testing of Team Bahrain Victorious, the winning UCI WorldTeam cycling team in Tour de France 2021.

In a press statement, the company noted the possibility of coronavirus infection from the dynamic nature of cycling on open roads.

"Rapid tests have become vital in keeping our team bubble safe. This partnership will help the team keep the high preventive measures of [COVID-19] throughout the year," Dr Daniele Zaccaria, doctor for Team Bahrain Victorious, said.

iXensor's testing solution, which comprises the PixoTest COVID-19 antigen test, digital health pass app and cloud-based management web portal, enables the cycling team's medical staff to test the athletes once COVID-19-related symptoms arise.

Last month, iXensor received a CE mark for its COVID-19 antigen test that can provide results within 15 minutes. A clinical study in Brazil showed that the test has 95% sensitivity and 98% specificity of nasopharyngeal specimens within seven days of the onset of COVID-19 symptoms.
