Forward Health, a UK-based app maker aiming to improve messaging and communications between healthcare practitioners (and not to be confused with AI care-focused Forward) has raised $3.9 million in seed funding, according to a report from TechCrunch. The round was led by Stride.VC, with additional support from Albion Capital and individual angel investors.

Encino, California-based mPulse Mobile has raised an additional $8.3 million for its healthcare messaging service, bringing the company’s total funding to around $10 million. HLM Venture Partners led the round, while OCA Ventures, Merrick Ventures, and Jumpstart Ventures, which invested $1.7 million in mPulse Mobile last year, also contributed.
