DarioHealth hires former Livongo, Meta leader and more digital health hires

Women's health company Tia adds two women to its all-female leadership team, Ophelia appoints a chief commercial officer and chief operations officer, and Noom adds new leadership.

DarioHealth, a digital chronic condition management platform, announced that Eitan Shay is joining the company in the newly created position of chief product officer. Shay was previously in leadership roles at Livongo, Teladoc Health and Meta

Arnaud Robert is also joining Dario as a strategic advisor to the company's CEO, Erez Raphael. Robert recently served as executive vice president and chief digital officer at Sanofi and previously worked at Microsoft, Nike, Disney and Viking Cruise Lines.

"I could not be more excited to welcome Eitan to the Dario team, as his unique background offers a combination of experience in high-growth commercial product environments along with a deep understanding of consumer engagement," Erez Raphael, CEO of DarioHealth said in a statement.

His unique perspective and experience, having led digital strategy and innovation at many flagship companies, including Sanofi, Nike, and Disney, will serve us well and ensure that we remain at the forefront of the digital and data-driven transformation of healthcare."


Hybrid women's healthcare company Tia announced Stacey Irving would join its leadership team as the company's first chief operating officer, and Jess Tomlinson will take on the role of general counsel. 

Irving was chief wisdom officer at DaVita, a kidney dialysis services company, who was responsible for enterprise learning, culture and engagement. At Tia, she will oversee operations, real estate, people and partnerships.  

Tomlinson previously worked as associate general counsel for Nurx, a direct-to-consumer women's health company known for its online birth control prescriptions. She will oversee Tia's legal matters, including data privacy, employment, health regulations, building legal and compliance infrastructure, and corporate transactions.

Irving and Tomlinson are Tia's recent additions to its all-female leadership team. 


Opioid addiction care provider Ophelia appointed Alexandra Minarik as its chief commercial officer and Chris Sharon as chief operations officer. Together, the pair will help grow the company's health plan and geographical footprint. 

Minarik previously held the roles of executive director of contracting at Babylon; vice president of growth at Evolent Health, a health technology company that helps health systems transition to value-based care; and strategic partner-focused management roles at Anthem.

Sharon formerly worked as senior vice president of care delivery and operations at the chronic-condition management platform Omada Health.

Both will have an immediate impact as we work to make lifesaving treatment accessible to more patients, especially those in underserved rural and Medicaid populations who need us most," Zack Gray, cofounder and CEO of Ophelia, said in a statement. 


Digital weight loss startup Noom announced Mandy Ginsberg is joining its board as an independent director and Dr. Linda Anegawa will be the company's first medical director.

Ginsberg previously served as Match Group CEO. At Noom, she'll advise the company as it grows its platform and scales its reach. She's currently on the boards of Uber Technologies and thredUP. She is also an operating partner at Advent International. 

Dr. Anegawa will be responsible for overseeing the company's clinical work. She will also work with Noom's chief of psychology to expand its behavior change platform to include the treatment of chronic metabolic diseases. 

"Mandy and Dr. Anegawa both bring unique expertise to Noom that will greatly contribute to our mission of helping people everywhere live healthier lives," Saeju Jeong, cofounder and CEO of Noom, said in a statement. 

"While we are best known for the weight management program that helped solidify our position in the lives of our users, we've only just begun the work of helping people get back in the driver's seat of their own health. Mandy's experience transforming categories and Dr. Anegawa's clinical background will enable us to help more people improve their health and well-being."
