Israel-based remote care automation company, Datos Health, and providers of medication adherence solutions, Vaica Medical, have partnered up to include medication adherence information as part of Datos’s offering of data relating to status of patients’ health and wellbeing.

The solution has been first implemented at Sheba Medical Center.

WHY IT MATTERS

The partnership addresses the lack of patient adherence to treatments and the challenge this poses by impacting patients’ recovery which results in a greater burden on healthcare providers.

Vaica’s comprehensive medication adherence technology is synchronised with patient-generated data collated and evaluated by Datos’ remote care platform. This enables clinicians to stay up-to-date regarding the status of patients and facilitating decision making.

THE LARGER CONTEXT

The first implementation for this collaboration began in the third quarter of 2020 with the Psychiatry Division at Sheba Medical Center, as part of an overall program to introduce comprehensive remote psychiatric care.

Earlier this year, Datos’s remote patient monitoring platform, Tyto Care’s connected devices, and a robot from InTouch Health helped Sheba Hospital treat and Monitor patients in quarantine and at home.  

Meanwhile, UK-based HealthHero launched a telehealth platform, allowing patients to communicate with general practitioners, mental health clinicians and specialists.
