100,000 Physicians Actively Use Epocrates on the iPhone

This frequent use places Epocrates among the elite top five percent of iPhone applications actively used more than a month after download. By supporting the iPhone device since its launch, Epocrates continues its position as the leader in mobile medical software. Epocrates has maintained its ranking as the top free medical application by providing concise, up-to-date clinical information health professionals need at the point of care. Unique product features in the free Epocrates® Rx drug and formulary guide include pill pictures, clinical tables, health plan coverage, medical calculators and specialty DocAlert® clinical messages. Beyond physicians, several hundred thousand subscribers, including nurses, pharmacists and even health-minded consumers, are actively using Epocrates on the iPhone. The quality drug content is developed by the company's in-house team of physicians and pharmacists, and is credited in helping to prevent medical errors weekly.
