Healthcare technology company Loyal Health announced it appointed Lauren Struck as its first-ever chief people officer.

Struck will build a "strategic people operations infrastructure," the company said in a statement. She will focus on providing employees with clear professional development pathways, ensuring effective communication and strengthening employee experiences.

She previously served as chief people officer for BioDigital, director of product for Dow Jones and director of business operations for Inkling.

"I’m honored to join a company that is both a strong cultural fit for me and well aligned with my passion to empower patients with the information and tools they need to get the best care possible," Struck said in a statement. "Loyal has already established a strong vision and team culture, and I’m excited to build on this foundation to support talent and cultivate growth as the company expands to deliver on its mission to enable healthier lives."

Patient engagement company Carenet Health announced Rhonda Gibler joined its executive team as chief sales officer, in which she will oversee sales, revenue and growth targets.

She previously led global sales teams for 20 years at West Corporation (Intrado).

"Rhonda will be an important resource as she leads our sales team during a pivotal time in the company as we continue to expand," Carenet's chief executive officer John Erwin said in a statement. "Rhonda will guide our team to reach important revenue goals while providing excellent customer service to our clients and prospects to ensure they have the most advanced healthcare technology and solutions available."
