The American Telemedicine Association's 2010 event in San Antonio, Texas just wrapped up yesterday. Here's a roundup of deals, studies and product launches from the event:

Two-thirds of US care providers use telehealth: Health care delivery in the US will change dramatically as care providers adopt telehealth technology, according to a new report conducted by Intel and released at the ATA 2010 event this week. Telehealth solutions, which the survey defined as those that deliver health-related services and information via telecommunications and computing technologies, are currently being used by two-thirds of health care professionals with an 87 percent satisfaction rate. Of those not using telehealth, 50 percent plan on implementing it within the next year, the survey found. More (PDF)
