Text4Baby partnership base continues to expand: Health Net Federal Services, a government contracting group within parent company Health Net, has built on its partnership with Text4Baby, a free mobile text messaging service for pregnant women and new moms from pregnancy through a baby's first year. US iPhone FaceTime for physician-physician video consults: While doctors in the UK and Ireland have already announced plans to leverage the iPhone 4's new video calling service for patient consultations, at least one pair of physicians in the US have used it for physician-to-physician consultations. The Cult of Mac reports: "In what may be the first documented iPhone 4 medical video consultation, University of Arizona surgeon David G. Armstrong, connected via FaceTime to give with Los Angeles Surgeon Lee Rogers’ a look at a patient who had undergone foot reconstruction at the University’s Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance." Botswana Orange teams with ClickDiagnostics: In Botswana, mobile carrier Orange is teaming up with US-based ClickDiagnostics for a mobile phone-based remote diagnosis system. The Botswana Gazette reports: "A junior doctor or nurse in a rural clinic can capture patient information and associated images on the phone and send them to a medical specialist in Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone or the United States of America."
